The focus is on handling profiles and bars in a way to make production more efficient.

At present, ROSA can handle rigid and flexible profiles of a length of up to 12 meters.
ROSA can work with different materials (wood, plastic, metals, composite materials …) and profiles (solid, hollow chamber …). What will ROSA do with these profiles – with all her care?

• Identify the position (of the profiles)
• Remove from a storage position
• Move to a processing position
• Place at the processing fixture (machine, manual workstation)
• And/Or: place into an assembly package consisting of multiple profiles (stack formation)
• Remove from the processing position
• Place in a new storage position

Well, ROSA’s speed entirely depends on the very application, but practice has already seen ROSA picking up profile bars from a profile box and placing them into a subsequent machine with a cycle time of 10 seconds.

And ROSA will do that 24/7 – when fed enough material.

ROSA is becoming acquainted with more and more industries, where she can help support production and plannable processes.

Sometimes, ROSA gets support from her twin sister. Working in synchronicity, they implement operating applications for very long profiles.
